The Lord’s Vengeance on Egypt.1 This word of the Lord came to me: 2 Son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus says the Lord God:

Cry out, “Alas for the day!”
3 For near is the day.
    The day of the Lord is near.
It will be a day of clouds,
    a day of reckoning for the nations.
